Oxford University has maintained its dominance as the top leading University in the United Kingdom until 2022. Not only has the University of Oxford hold tight on its number one position in the UK, but it also has become the 5th top university in the world.
There isn’t any publication out there that can exclude Oxford University from the UK universities ranking list 2022 or even change its position as of now. However, the University has a rival, Cambridge University, and the University of Cambridge is right now ranking in the 2nd position.
Today, if students list how many universities globally, 90% would mention Oxford earlier than the other universities, even world rankings.
The QS World University Rankings recorded a total of 90 Universities in the UK. In the previous year, a total of 84 was recorded, which it extra six universities included. Almost five out of these institutions make it into the global top 10, with a further four in the global top 50.
