Well, I haven’t been to Asia before, but I’ll tell you about my friend’s experience.
The first time my friend visited Asia was when he moved to live there! He was doing a research project with Cambridge University in Singapore as part of his dissertation and made Singapore his home. However, Singapore is only a small country located in the southeastern part of Asia’s continent. There are always more best places to visit in all other countries across the continent, which I’ll be talking about a few of them in this article.
He then ‘did Asia’ by selecting a specific destination, either a city, a town, a village or a resort area; it didn’t matter. It was also the best excuse to explore cities and countries nearby. For instance, when he visited Hong Kong, it allowed him to throw in quickly visiting Macau.
I’m trying to say here that it is a great way to the best places in Asia. Divide your trip into manageable regions and get to visit places in this hugely diverse and incredible area of the world.

1. Beijing
Beijing is located in China. It’s also the capital city of China. You don’t want to miss out on visiting this big city, of course, as it’s among the vast cities in Asia, if not number one.
2. Siem Reap
Cambodia is another country situated in Asia.
It’s full of idols of the people of the past. I do not recommend visiting this place, however. I added it to inform you that some other blogs might not tell you about the place.
3. Bangkok
Thailand is a country located in the southeast of Asia; its capital is Bangkok. Not only will you find interesting modern stuff, but also historical things.
4. Hong Kong
China is located in the eastern part of the Asia continent. Hong Kong is one of its cities and a place you should be happy to visit.
5. Kathmandu
Nepal is a country located in the south of the Asia continent. Kathmandu is the capital of Nepal and yet another great city to explore as a tourist.
6. Bali
Indonesia, also known as the Republic of Indonesia, is a country in the southeast of Asia. Bali is an island in Indonesia. A great place to visit, too.
7. Kyoto
Japan is a country located in East Asia. Kyoto is a city on the island; you can visit there also! However, Tokyo is the capital of Japan, in case you don’t know. The capital in itself is an amazing place to explore.
8. Bagan
Myanmar is a nation situated in the southeast of Asia. It consists of thousands of temples and stupas.
9. Ha Long Bay
Vietnam is also a southeast country in Asia.
Ha Long Bay, located in the northeast part of Vietnam, houses emerald waters and thousands of towering limestone islands topped by rainforests.
10. Kandy
Sri Lanka is formerly known as Ceylon. It’s a country in the south of Asia and Kandy is a city in it, which you’ll find wonderful mountains to visit.
11. Seoul
Seoul is the capital city of South Korea. It houses a huge metropolis where modern skyscrapers, high-tech subways.
12. El Nido, Philippines
El Nido is sitting on the island of Palawan, Philippines. One of the best places to visit in Asia.
CONCLUSION
You can do some other recreational activities. As you explore these countries, more especially in China, you could learn the Chinese language, make friends, exchange contacts, and so on.
